I manage the newsroom social media, lead breaking news coverage and live chats, build special pages, packages and multimedia elements and oversee the day-to-day online coverage of our award-winning sports website. NewsOK.com’s online sports coverage was named a top 10 website nationally by the Associated Press Sports Editors in both 2009 and 2010. I’m also a master site administrator who works with every area of the newsroom.

Completely redesigned and developed a new Web site and brand for The Oklahoma Daily, The University of Oklahoma’s student newspaper. I managed OUDaily.com and updated it with stories, videos, slideshows, podcasts, photos, blogs and more multimedia elements, and I was in charge of everything that went on the site. OUDaily.com won a Gold Crown given to the top college newspaper Web site by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and an Online Pacemaker award from the Associated Collegiate Press, considered the “Pulitzer Prize” of college journalism.
